We encourage every attendee to tap lightning from the moment they set foot in El Salvador. The conference venue is packed with food and beverage vendors running on sats, letting lunch and coffee settle instantly via bitcoin.

When the daytime programming wraps, afterparties keep the tabs open in sats so cocktails and late-night snacks ride the same rails.

Art lovers made history: more than 1 BTC worth of original pieces left the gallery floor, proving that culture trades hands faster when artists and collectors share a lightning wallet.

ChainDuel battles triggered a stream of lightning wagers, the poker tables ran on the same rails, and there was even a tattoo artist inking designs for sats. It’s bitcoin country here, and the network never sleeps.
